JULY 5th BEACH CLEAN UP
The Friends of Jupiter Beach have invited Surfrider Foundation to participate
in their beach cleanup Saturday morning, July 5th. Breakfast is served
afterward in the pavillion.
Time: 8 - 9am
Location: Ocean Cay Park, (the southwest corner of Marcinski Road at the
ocean).
The cleanups are SHINE ONLY....if the weatherlooks doubtful, a weather call will be made by 6:45 am and a message will be on the messagemachine -- 561-748-8140.
The Friends of Jupiter Beach have been doing monthly cleanups of the beach there for more than 10 years, and have collected more than 11,000 pounds of trash so far. They even have the recycleables separated so they don't wind up in the landfill.
